Amazon Resort's most important commitment is to preserve the flora and fauna of the Amazon area. Our refreshing jungle rivers are ideal for swimming, fishing and canoeing.  The sunrises and sunsets are superlative and naturally accentuate the visitor's romantic and artistic feelings.  A significant and large variety of birds, animals, fish, butterflies, plants, etc. offer a unique setting for nature lovers, scientists, researchers, birdwatchers and explorers.

Whatever your pleasure or interest in the Amazon Ecological Reserve may be, we are dedicated to making your stay one of the most relaxing, most exciting, and possibly most romantic experiences of your life. You can explore, walk, swim, or, if you prefer, slowly wake up to the tropical fragrance of the rainforest and allow the tension and stress of daily life to fade away....that is, doing nothing at all.

THE AMAZON Jungle Resort Village, RAIN FOREST ECOLOGICAL RESERVE

The Amazon Jungle Resort Village Ecological Reserve, belongs to the "SELVA" Life Without Frontiers Foundation. Our income serves to implement concrete and viable environmental protection projects in the Amazon Rain Forest and its fragile ecosystem of universal significance, as an urgent priority which cannot be delayed any longer.  We are located on the shores of the Aguarico river, province of Sucumbios, Northern Ecuador. The property is divided by the equator (latitude 0) and simultaneously forms part of the northern and southern hemispheres.  The resort is also a natural habitat for animal life and vegetation located in the middle of a 200 acre private ecological reserve which is closely guarded to prevent deforestation and to protect endangered species. As a result, among other organisms, the Ecuadorian Foundation for Tourism Promotion (FEPROTUR) and the Ecuadorian Tourism Bureau (CETUR) have officially declared the Amazon Jungle Resort Village, a "national protected area under private administration", creating afterwards "Selva Foundation" with the purpose to obtain the resources for the preservation of the Amazonic Rainforest and to help the indigenous tribes and culture.
