The Reserve and eco lodge is located on
the shores of the Aguarico River, in Ecuador's northern province of Sucumbios, is divided by the equator (latitude 0) and, simultaneously forming part of the northern
and southern hemispheres, is a natural habitat for animal life and vegetation extending over 200 acres.
Integrated within the rain forest, the unique infrastructure of Amazon Jungle Resort Village Ecological Reserve

The Amazon Jungle Resort Village Ecological Reserve is located in an area
which the World Bank and the World Wildlife Fund have classified as Eco-region No. 22 of the internationally recognized Globally Outstanding
Regions. A region which represents 25% of the world's bio-diversity and where each 2 square kilometer tract can harbour over 1,200 plant species representing 136 families, many of them endemic.
The FSVSF Reserve bordering the Cuyabeno Indian Territory and Fauna Production Reserve,
contains the highest species diversity of any equivalent drainage basin in the world. In particular, the Aguarico River, which crosses the property, is a very significant tributary forming
the Amazon River basin that transports 18% of the fresh water that falls on the surface of the globe.
